In Sierra Productiva, innovative knowledge and transformative changes through the implementation of technologies, is carried out through the training of peasant to peasant conducted by the Yachachiqs, who are peasant leaders who train by preaching by example with the "Learn by Making" method.
The Yachachiqs of Sierra Productiva revalue Andean knowledge and adopt and adapt modern knowledge; establish a synergistic cultural relationship, for being peers, for communicating in the mother tongue, for "interaprender", for recognizing knowledge in the trained interlocutor, for provoking an emulator challenge through a habitual relationship of the trained person who says: "If a farmer like me can do it, I can do it too".
